Social Media Manager

A Richmond, VA area marketing company is seeking a full-time Social Media Manager who is looking to find a career home with a growing and successful company. Advanté-BCS has served clients around the world for over 30 years and is dedicated to exceeding the expectations of our customers. The ideal candidate for this position is someone who has the ability to develop, execute, and manage social media strategy, particularly video content, across various platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Linkedin, and TikTok for clients in various industries.

Candidate must be able to manage multiple social media accounts at once, suggest and implement new marketing strategies, provide analysis and insight into client social media performance, and work with clients to ensure strong results. A great fit would be a creative individual who has a strong understanding of social media platforms and current social media marketing strategies for small and medium-sized businesses.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Create, schedule, and monitor social media postings, including designing still images and dynamic videos accompanied by creative and sales-driven copy
  • Establish social media strategies and collaborate with team on new ideas
  • Execute paid social media campaigns
  • Monitor engagement across social media platforms and deliver meaningful analysis of reporting
  • Act as a point of communication with clients in regards to social media strategy as well as for clients as a brand representative in social media communities

The Ideal Candidate has:

  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Understanding of Social Media platforms
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong design and copywriting skills
  • Ability to produce compelling video content
  • Comfortable being in front and behind the scenes of a camera to represent brands
